A few accolades on the project include:

“The Dallas Regional Chamber has put together a marketing piece that quickly allows the reader to understand the depth and scope of the health care industry in North Texas.  This is one of the best pieces I have seen on the subject and I proud to hand it to my colleagues and our legislators in Austin as we make our case for responsible health care funding.”  Stephen Mansfield, President and CEO, Methodist Health System

“The Health Care Impact brochure is a fantastic example of the kind of research and publications developed by the Dallas Regional Chamber. The Life Sciences Directory: The Life Science Companies of Dallas-Fort Worth

Life Science Directory (PDF Download)

The Dallas Regional Chamber has published bi-annually a life science directory that highlights the diversity of the region’s health focused entrepreneurs and established businesses.  The DRC will for the first time partner with BIODFW to bring additional focus to the directory and expand its coverage of the important companies in North Texas.

The directory has found its way into the hands of many throughout the state and the country via trade shows, meetings, and other distribution.  For the first time in 2011, the directory will be made available online.  Currently a PDF download is available.  Through the newly formed partnership with BIODFW, the directory will be made into a searchable, online database to further the success of this industry in North Texas.  The new online directory is expected to launch in summer 2011.

“The Dallas Regional Chamber’s Life Science directory has been a great tool for my research and to promote collaborations between the universities, their researchers and companies in the sector. This is definitely one of the most successful initiatives of the DRC’s Life Science Council.” Denise Perry Simons, Senior Director Research Development, University of North Texas

If you are interested in including your company in the database, please submit your company information to healthcare@dallaschamber.org.
