Early STAAR Testing Results Size Students Up

Initial State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) testing results have been released by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Although not comprehensive, the report gives initial results for five main high school subjects.

As the passing standards for the tests are being phased-in through 2016, the current standards are lower than they will be in the upcoming years. This TEA report depicts the percentage of students that passed the 2012 tests, as well as the “what if it were already 2016” perspective. Click here to view.
