Democratic candidates Domingo Garcia and Marc Veasey provided their distinct perspective on the critical issues facing our country and North Texas during a Candidate Forum hosted by the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) on Friday, June 29 at the DRC Conference Center.
Garcia and Veasey are vying for the U.S. Congressional District 33 seat created as a result of the 2010 U.S. Census Report.
The Forum, attended by over 100 North Texas citizens, provided both candidates a non-partisan platform to debate important public policy issues including immigration reform, economic development, recent Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Health Care legislation, Trinity River Corridor Project, and their qualifications.

2012- In the world in which we live today, an individual without any enemies is likely to be a COWARD and a SYCOPHANT (A person who attempts to gain advantage by flattering influential people or behaving in a submissive way).
An individual with the RIGHT enemies is often an ADVOCATE who has taken on POWERFUL INTERESTS and STOOD UP for the poor, disenfranchised, and the masses.
DOMINGO GARCIA HAS STOOD, CONTINUES TO STAND, AND WILL STAND for “ALL” PEOPLE ! DG TO DC!
