Join Dallas Regional Chamber President and CEO Jim Oberwetter, Downtown Dallas, Inc. President, CEO John Crawford and Park(ing) Day Dallas founder Noah Jeppson to officially kick off Park(ing) Day Dallas with a ribbon cutting celebration at 11:30 a.m. at Pegasus Plaza.
Park(ing) Day is an international event where organizations transform parking spaces into temporary green spaces. The project is part of an effort to make Downtown a more lively, active and community-oriented place to live, work and play.
The Dallas Regional Chamber will continue the day at its “Live – Work – Play” themed park located in the 1800 block of Main St. Guests can register to vote (Dallas County only), practice their putting on a green provided by Dallas Southwest Greens and sign up for the YP/DRC Golf Touranment. Sip on water provided by Crazy Water.
